(Of the return of the Noldor, The Silmarillion) (.) But Finrod Felagund was not the first to dwell in the caves beside the River Narog. And in that time was made for him the Nauglamír, the Necklace of the Dwarves, most renowned of their works in the Elder Days. In that labour Finrod was aided by the Dwarves of the Blue Mountains and they were rewarded well, for Finrod had brought more treasures out of Tirion than any other of the princes of the Noldor. Thus Finrod came to the Caverns of Narog, and began to establish there deep halls and armouries after the fashion of the mansions of Menegroth and that stronghold was called Nargothrond. Therefore he opened his heart to Thingol, telling him of his dreams and Thingol spoke to him of the deep gorge of the River Narog, and the caves under the High Faroth in its steep western shore, and when he departed he gave him guides to lead him to that place of which few yet knew. I'll admit Milla wasn't quite my favorite character to play, but these changes will be most welcome when it comes down to it.Īnimation by me using SourceFilmmaker from Valve.Finrod was filled with wonder at the strength and majesty of Menegroth, its treasuries and armouries and its many-pillared halls of stone and it came into his heart that he would build wide halls behind ever-guarded gates in some deep and secret place beneath the hills. Overall I am very happy with the changes to Milla coming up with her play style, its swifter, feels closer to where the game wants to go, but still feels different enough.
Freedom planet torque ammo spawn full#
I hope they'll utilize her dig ability in the full game as she seems to be able to dig in the demo, but to my knowledge there isn't anything to find. Milla can guard as well and has more health to boot. She can still do her skuttle jump type thing but this time we can see the duration through the energy meter! Also not sure if collecting crystal shards helped sustain it in the first game but they sure enough do now! Additionally Milla's cube is no longer intrusive, they're still vital to spawn each chance you get, but now they float! And once summoned, they can be used as ammo for Milla's shield pea shooter, or for a similar burst attack from the first game. She's sporting a few melee abilities that can be quicker to use for sudden threats or just bypassing others. She still feels unique from the others, but improved. So how does she shape up in the Demo? Well of the original 3 she is probably the most radically changed from the first game.

It probably didn't help my experience with her to play on Hard, where you take double damage and Milla has like 4 health petals? XD But I was stubborn haha. Though I've heard people could speed run with her to an insane degree. I even played her just recently and saw that she was faster than I originally thought, and I came to enjoy her a bit more than I did the first time, but even so she's still my last choice to play when starting up a new game on Freedom Planet. Using shields and her cubes and no other physical attacks made her game play feel just a bit slower than the others, which wasn't bad.

Still it is quite unique to see a new character brought in to the game that actually changes how you play the game, Milla is largely a defensive type character, at least that's how I would play her. She was radically different from the Carol or Lilac as far as game play goes, which I do have to commend, even if she's not my favorite character to play. So before getting to the second game let's talk a little bit about Milla's first outing. I might even try to redo this one, I wasn't really too certain how I did So this one took a good while to do XD Probably because I was intimidated by how different Milla's victory outro and overall motions were to Carol and Lilac's, its not something I'm used to doing and I hope to do better as time goes on.
